DAY 1

Airport to Negombo

Upon arrival at the airport , you will meet your driver / guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Negombo .

Negombo is a vibrant coastal town in Sri Lanka . With its golden beaches , bustling fish market , and historic Dutch architecture , Negombo is a must – visit destination for any traveler .

After arriving at your hotel in Negombo , take some time to unwind and relax after your long flight . Later , enjoy a romantic sunset walk along the beach before settling in for an overnight stay in this beautiful coastal town .

DAY 2

Negombo to Pinnawala - Sigiriya

Sigiriya rock fortress which is also known as ‘ ‘ Lion rock ‘ is located in the central province and is famous for its palace , ruins on top of a massive 200 meter high rock surrounded by the remains of an extensive network of gardens , reservoirs and other structures .In the late 5th Century Sigiriya was built up by ‘ King kashyapa ‘ in the shape of a monumental lion intending it to be a safeguard from the potential attacks from his brother Moggallana , the rightful heir to the throne.

Drive Prenaware Elephant Orphanage and witness the feeding and bathing of Elephant

Continue the drive to Sigiriya.

DAY 3

Sigiriya to Kandy

Kandy, the hill capital of Sri Lanka and the second largest city in the island. Kandy is also the country’s religious and cultural center. Kandy which is a UNESCO declared World Heritage City. The city was developed in the 14th century and became the capital of the Kingdom of Kandy in the l6th century.

 Kandy continues the living tradition of the arts and crafts, music and dance and song which flourished continuously in the island nation for centuries.

Visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress and climb to the top for stunning views

Optional: Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple

Kandy Day Excursion

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

Nuwara Eliya that’s also known as “Little England” by the locals. Layers of mountains covered in tea plantations surround this beautiful quaint retreat covered in mist and cool weather. 

Many plants that you cannot find in other cities in Sri Lanka are grown here and, as a result many vegetables, fruics and flowers are grown by the locals

Bentota’s sandy beaches, extensive lagoon and exciting water sports have made this resort town famous. The best time to visit this city is from November to April, as the calm seas are ideal for snorkelling, diving, sailing, and wind-surfing.
