Itinerary
Upon arrival at the airport , you will meet your driver / guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Negombo .

Sigiriya rock fortress which is also known as ‘ ‘ Lion rock ‘ is located in the central province and is famous for its palace , ruins on top of a massive 200 meter high rock surrounded by the remains of an extensive network of gardens , reservoirs and other structures .In the late 5th Century Sigiriya was built up by ‘ King kashyapa ‘ in the shape of a monumental lion intending it to be a safeguard from the potential attacks from his brother Moggallana , the rightful heir to the throne.
