Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had searched many travel companies in Sri Lanka for a trip during December 2025. A few sent me quotations in a very businesslike and very mechanical manner. What stood out among all these companies was CCeylon. Right from the start, I had been dealing with Arman Shaliq ( I address him just as Arman, because we have developed quite a rapport which does not require any formalities!) I changed the itinerary a couple of times. I told him our requirements for the tour. Not once, was he impatient or curt. He answered my queries at all times with the same temperament. It did not feel like a business dealing, but as if a close family member was making plans for the holiday alongside me. He insisted on safety and comfort for our group of four.
Our tour guide Sadeesh needs special mention here. At just 32 year of age, his professionalism, conduct and cheerfulness were highly impressive. He went way out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Being a foodie, I had made a list of Sri Lankan cuisine which I wanted to try. Sadeesh actually made a list of our wish list, and ticked off after each was fulfilled! He made several phone calls to restaurants and also his relatives to find out where to get what we wanted to try! Since we all in our group insisted on local cuisine, he took the time and trouble to find local restaurants serving the same. I will never forget the time he brought us a pot of the special aubergine Moju since the restaurants we visited did not serve the same on the day we went there. Sadeesh became another family member during the entire trip. The last couple of days before our trip ended, poor guy was not too well. He never complained, nor did he let that come in the way of his work. Bless you, Sadeesh! Keep up the good work.
The hotels which we were put in were classy and comfortable. I should mention here, people in Sri Lanka are beautiful, humble, cheerful and they made us feel at home everywhere!
A big heartfelt thank you to CCeylon in general, and Arman and Sadeesh in particular. You guys are doing a great job. Please maintain the same, and you shall climb greater heights. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful country which has bounced back remarkably well after the recent disaster. We shall return again, God willing.
