DAY 1 - Airport to Negombo - 10km/20min
Upon arrival at the airport , you will meet your driver / guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Negombo .
Negombo is a vibrant coastal town in Sri Lanka . With its golden beaches , bustling fish market , and historic Dutch architecture , Negombo is a must – visit destination for any traveler .
After arriving at your hotel in Negombo , take some time to unwind and relax after your long flight . Later , enjoy a romantic sunset walk along the beach before settling in for an overnight stay in this beautiful coastal town .
DAY 2 - Negombo to Anuradhapura - 170 Km / 3 hr 35m
Anuradhapura, located in the north-central part of Sri Lanka, is a city steeped in history and
spirituality. Considered one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, it was the
capital of Sri Lanka from the 4th century BCE until the 11th century CE. The city is home to
numerous ancient ruins, including massive dagobas (stupas), intricately carved stone pillars,
and sprawling monastic complexes. Visitors can explore these fascinating archaeological
sites, as well as the city’s many temples and shrines, which offer a glimpse into Sri Lanka’s
rich Buddhist heritage. Anuradhapura is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in
history, culture, and spirituality

DAY 3 - Anuradhapura To Trincomalee - 110 KM / 2 hr 10m
Trincomalee is a charming port city located on the east coast of Sri Lanka. With its pristine
beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant coral reefs, it is a haven for beach lovers and water
sports enthusiasts. The city also boasts a rich cultural and historical heritage, with ancient
temples and historical sites such as the Koneswaram Temple. Visitors can immerse themselves
in the local culture by exploring the markets and sampling the delicious seafood cuisine. Trin-
comalee is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a perfect blend of natural beauty, cul-
tural heritage, and adventure.
DAY 3
Trincomalee
DAY 5 - Trincomalee - Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya - 160 KM / 3 hr 30m
Sigiriya rock fortress which is also known as ‘Lion rock ‘ is located in the central province and
is famous for its palace, ruins on top of a massive 200 meter high rock surrounded by the
remains of an extensive network of gardens, reservoirs and other structures . In the late 5th
Century Sigiriya was built up by ‘King kashyapa’ in the shapeof a monumental lion intending
it to be a safeguard from the potential attacks from his brother Moggallana, the rightful heir
to the throne. In 1982 Sigiriya was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site also referred
to as the 8th Wonder of the world by locals.
DAY 5
Sigiriya
DAY 6 - Sigiriya to Kandy - 90 KM / 2 hr 30m.
Kandy, the hill capital of Sri Lanka and the second largest city in the island. Kandy is also the
country’s religious and cultural center. Kandy which is a UNESCO declared World Heritage City.
The city was developed in the 14th century and became the capital of the Kingdom of Kandy in
the 16th century. Kandy continues the living tradition of the arts and crafts, music and dance
and song which flourished continuously in the island nation for centuries.

Fortress and climb to the top for stunning views

Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple/ Golden Temple

Proceed to Kandy and check-in at the hotel.
