Pick up from Kandy at 7.30 am. Stops at tea plantations tea factory and water falls and lunch on the way and rech to Nuwara Eliya city. Nuwara Eliya a city in the hill country and it means city of light and it is 1868 metres above the sea level, it was called the little England during the British colonial era. 3 hours drive from Nuwaraeliya to nallathanniya and rest for a while in hotel in nallathanniya and start climbing adams peak at 10 pm and return to the hotel in the morning couple of hours rest and proceed to kandy.
Adams peak is 2243 metres tall mountain located in Sri Lanka. It is well known as sri pada. Sri Pada is first mentioned in the deepawamsa and Mahawamsa chronicles where it is stated that the Buddha visited the mountain peak.
