You will be picked up from the hotel at 6 am. Knuckles range of mountains lies in the central of Sri Lanka. The range takes its name from series of recumbent folds while this name was assigned by early british and the Sinhalese people referred to the area as “Dumbara Kanduwetiya” means mist Leiden mountain.

17 to 18 km with options to reduce distance by 3 km(if high Knuckle climb which is a steep climb is excluded)

Climbing the two highest peaks of the so called ‘ Knuckle’s which derives the name of the forest with 34 peaks is called the high Knuckle trekking and will be part of the full trekking. 

Out of the 7 waterfalls in a river, the highest water fall will be accessible from below with a cool water pool to swim. If high Knuckles is climbed time will permit only this waterfall visit .There will be a near vertical short climb to top of the falls with something called ‘river bed’ trekking on rocky river bed to see its beauty and wildlife. A brief description of tea plantation is also on the list with chances to see tea clones used for the priced’ Silver tips’ tea.
